Hello,

I've just downloaded the source for gpsim-0.20.1. I have installed the
latest gtk-extra. When I run make I get the following errors.

well I had the exact same problem and when i upgraded to gtk-extra
0.99.9 it worked fine,,.

check that you got get-extra 0.99.9 not 0.99.0.

my error was with 0.20.0..

hope this helps cause it's late in the US and Scott went to bed. go
figure?!?!?

make sure that you REALLY removed all the old gtk+extra before
installing the new one.

maybe you have gtk-extra in /usr/local, in /usr/include, and even
in $HOME/localinst/gtk-extra.
best to run a
find / -iname "*extra*" | less

In addition to this information, Erik has sent me very detailed, step-by-step
installation instructions. His instructions describe how one may install gpsim
in usr space instead of system space (i.e. you don't need root access).

Also, Erik has modified configure.in to check for eXdbm.

These changes along with those that were mentioned during the 0.20.1
announcement are all in CVS.
