We have a working application built using fluid & fltk
routines on X-lib.
When we build it under fltk to the nanox microwindows (VESA
frame buffer configuration), the windows show up and respond
to mouse events, but no images or labels are displayed. I
did run the world map demo successfully with this nano-X,
configured with frame buffer. Also the tests under flnx ran
with labels. The flnx test/demo had an interesting variety
of problems, like no exit. (Used escape or kill from
another virtual console & reset with 'stty sane'). Also the
mouse position was not traced correctly. The platform is
Red Hat Linux 6.2, kernel 2.2.14, 256MB memory. (Little
devices in our future we hope.)

1. Any suggestions on the image display problem? Format is
xmp.

2. Is a fresh port of flnx expected fast on the heels of
0.88 Microwindows? Flnx is based on 1.0.7 fltk which is now
available at version 1.0.9.

3. Is there a plan to have a standard frame available for
the windows? Need that exit button.

We're stoked that we've gotten this far.

   Thanks, Linda
