Dunno.

You can select Protrait-Mode. But You will have to edit config.h to set the
right orientation (i.e. Right or Left rotated). It seems to be a bug in
xconfigure.

Do you want to use microwindows or nano-x?
In case of the latter just grab the sources and compile. More later...

Dunno.

Dunno.

Look at the demo*.sh scripts in the src directory of microwindows. You
obviously try to run nano-x fltk. Nano-x ist client-server based, i.e. you will
have to start the nano-x server in background first and then start your
application. From commandline I use
  ((nano-x &); sleep 1; <application>)

Sure. Just the server is running but not your application.

Maybe this helps a bit ;)
