I had the same problem installing FLTK on a Mandrake v7.2 desktop.
I fiddled with (I think) configure.in, and it worked.
On a 800MHz PIII, Pose runs very nicely!

I agree! I have no idea what it will run like on a 75MHz MIPS chip like
on the Helio, but will be worth a try.
The next step would be to start optimizing pose, and eventually get it
so that Palm apps can just be converted on the fly to run on any
MicroWindows based unit. I have always been intrigued with virtual
machine emulation and code translation, so who knows where it might
lead.... perhaps a Transmeta PDA?
But I think at this point I am getting off topic.
