Hi,
Has anyone built NanoX/MicroWindows on the Agenda VR3 yet?
Joe and Greg had mentioned it a while ago, and since I have had an
Agenda for a couple of days now, I am wondering what advantage having
all the FLTK apps running on X11 instead of Nano-X would be, besides the
obvious of:
1 - It uses the X11 api, and has all of those benefits like exporting
the display to project onto another screen
2 - It takes less effort to use up that last 1 MEG of Ram.... :)
3 - Some other (very large) GUI APIs based on X11 might work
4 - Marketing? (depends on how technically savvy the purchaser is,
Could go either way, I suppose.)
I am basically an old fashioned X11/Motif guy, but the gang on this list
has been extremely helpful during my recent foray into Nano-X.
I have never, _ever_ had a nasty remark due to my many naive questions.
Thank you all for being so decent and tolerant, and for being so
responsive and forthcoming with your answers.
