Hey Alex,

Will we return to milli-seconds in 0.89-pre8, or will this parameter stay
as seconds? Should I change the documentation to note the bug in 089.pre7
or to describe the function in seconds?

For my two cents I think we should go back to milli-seconds in the next
release even though it would cause a compatibility issue. I think that
keeping GR_TIMEOUT in milli-second units is probably better than dealing
with one release's compatibility issues.
