Good-o! the more users the better... and I'd certainly be keen to have
MicroWindows experts help out and speed up porting progress.
Fortunately the amount of Xlib (or Nano-X)-specific code is quite small
because most of the wxWindows code is the common, generic, and univ stuff
which is not GUI specific. So the port mainly comes down to the files
in src/x11.

Yes, it's around 2.3 MB for a release version (using gcc 2.96 on a 7.0 RH system),
and the minimal sample when dynamically linked comes down to a more reasonable
23 KB. I've made some notes in docs/x11/readme-nanox.txt about
some possible strategies for decreasing the size further.
