Subject: microwindows and /dev/input/keyboard ???

Hi there,

I have a small keyboard (15 keys) on a custom board and want to use them in a
microwindows application. To be prepared for future I thought of writing a linux
kernel driver (2.6) for this keyboard that follows the /dev/input scheme.

Now my questions are:
Has anyone successfully used /dev/input/keyboard with microwindows?
Is it similar to src/drivers/kbd_tty.c?
Or are the keystrokes from /dev/input/keyboard propagated to /dev/tty by the
kernel?

Thanks very much!
