Well, I can't find it on any of my Windows 2000 boxen, but Hyperterm
claims it exists.  I'm ever so slightly confused, now, can someone tell
me *WHERE ON EARTH* I can find this font and what it is called on the
filesystem or, perhaps, send me a copy I can use for reference (simple
bitmap layout, eg, every character on a bitmap, etc -- I would ask for a
copy of the font file but that's illegal isn't it?) -- Thanks.

In some countries so is copying the bitmap images. The UK is one of them 8)

The fonts you're looking for are VGA850.FON and/or VGAOEM.FON (Those are of
course bitmapped fonts :) on the C:\Windows\Fonts directory (I dunno about
Win2K but on 95 and NT is there), the fonts are 6KB in size.
