Subject:
Can Microwindows run more than one instance in a system?
From: "Henri Chen" ####@####.#### Date: 19 Nov 1999 00:19:31 -0000 Message-Id: <003c01bf3223$a8035ca0$454ac8d2@eagle> Is Microwindow a "window-enable" graphic library? After skimming through its source codes, I found: 1. If you are using nano-X api, all calls are directed to another program called nano-X (i.e., client/server like X). 2. If you are using MS0Win api, you are actually using a graphic library that is capable of dealing with windows. In other words, you cannot run a second microwindow application on the same system. Am I right? Henri | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

That's currently true for the microwin API, but will change in a future release. I wanted to come up with a standard marshalling scheme but haven't implemented it yet.
