Hi,

I am interested in nanoX and microwindows as an alternative to X.
I would like to develop applications on top of nanoX. I've downloaded
the code and read some docs, but is there any tutorial or simple program
out there to help me get started? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Check out the stuff in /mwin/src/demos for all kinds of goodies.
Applications on Nano-X arn't at all hard to write, but you have to code
almost everything except graphical IO yourself. There are some test
widget sets and simple window management stuff out there, but nothing
that is ready for real world application developemtn yet.... The best
documentation you'll get is the nanox/srv_* code and the device.h and
the examples. The API documentation is handy, but you won't get alot of
coding help from it, atleast I never did :)

The mwin/docs dir has a mini-X tutorial, which, although somewhat out
of date, can be used to understand the way Nano-X works. In addition
to the Architecture document on the web site, I recommend reading
the simple mwin/demos/nanox/demo.c program.

Regards,

Greg
