Does Microwindows poll or does it expect an interrupt for touch screen

It can be set up either way.  For systems that work with 
the select() system call, Microwindows blocks until kbd or
touch screen input.  For systems that don't work that way,
the mouse, kbd and touch screen drivers have a poll entry
point...
