Subject:
run at boot time; test through serial for SA1110
From: liu cheng ####@####.#### Date: 2 Nov 2000 08:34:28 -0000 Message-Id: <00110216395301.01339@conyRedhat> Hi 1. To run microwindows on SA1110 target, a device file is needed for the touch screen driver: mknod /dev/ts c 254 0 so create a "xsession" script with 4 lines: #! /bin/sh mknod /dev/ts c 254 0 nano-X -p & nterm & nclock & nterm sleep 1 then modify the innittab to execute the script, but still boot to login prompt and nothing else happen. Is it because didn't mknod properly during boot? 2. after login,I can run the demos by mknod and nano-X & nclock & etc. But when touch screen, "Unknown output type(FE00) GsError 7,0 " The host&target communicate with minicom through serial, does minicom causes the running programs send message to serial? How can microwindow respond to touch panel correctly? How do you debug&test programs through serial?( tried gdbserver&DDD, cannot use the serial even disable "getty on serial" in inittab.) 3. where to put script in order to login as root automatically? thanx! liu cheng Ms Liu Cheng MGLogic PTE LTD Blk1002 Jalan Bukit Merah #6-13 Singapore 159456 ####@####.#### (00)65 2721638-231 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
