Hello,

Is there anybody working on porting Kaffe 1.0.6 Xlib-based
	AWT to Nano-X?

I'm currently using Kaffe 1.0.6 with the win32 interface of microwindows.
Unfortunately, I'm still missing several AWT features, but I can run some
simple applets like wireframes.

Kind regards,

Yes, Jason over here at Century Software has nearly completed
a full AWT version of Kaffe 1.0.6 based on Xlib to Nano-X.

Greg

Working on a port myself, I'm definitely interested in this. Any
chance that it is downloadable from somewhere?

I don't have it downloadable yet .. I spent a grand total of about 8 hours on
the porting effort and it is kind of rough. There are still some issues with
the proper font selection and some font metics. All the awt samples from the
kaffe dist run with some minor problems (mostly fonts) though.

If there is great interest, I'll finish the clean-up and hand it out as is.

Great, even still a bit rough I'd really like to test drive and gladly
help cleaning up. As for the fonts, I'd most likely have to hack that
up again so that it supports Japanese.

	I'm interested in this.

I'm intended to create a open-source project for doing this.
