Hi!

I would like to use (modified) nxkbd for a touchscreen application.

Now, I have a FLTK-GUI with an input widget on it. If I start the
application on the PC I can type a text on that input widget by normal
keyboard an it works fine.

I start the same (crosscompiled) application on the target (MPC5200 with
Linux 2.6.24 and nano-X 0.91) and start then nxkbd as a second process.
Then the characters don't appear in that input widget. How are the
characters buffered and how can they get fetched?
Or is there any special option to chose?

Thanks!
Michael

IIRC nxkbd uses a GrInjectKeyboardInput to send "characters"
to the nano-X server, which insert them in the main queue, with
no differences seen by any applications. Test nxkbd on desktop
linux with an app to see whether this might be a cross-compilation
issue.
