remote server?
From: Maris ####@####.#### Date: 20 Jan 2011 06:52:56 -0000 Message-Id: <op.vplhbkqv7fwl0e@rob-desktop> According to a quick review of XopenDisplay and some of the other small wrapper functions in nxlib-0.46, yet no remote x-servers are supported, only the local :0 server (and, hence, no DISPLAY environment variable be supported). Is this correct? -Rob | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Re: [nanogui] remote server?

Is this correct? That's basically correct, primarily because nano-X doesn't support remote connections itself. Adding this capability between client/server with the same endianness isn't too much of an issue, the GrOpen() code in nanox/client.c needs to be changed to use a TCP connection rather than a UNIX socket.
