The scanner works fine, following the INSTALL-file

but:

The color balance is blueish, see Attachment (sorry for that, but only
17K)

Minor things not perfect:

The progress bar only moves at the end of the scan, maybe that's a 
hardware-thing

The preview window itself does not resize from transp/neg to normal, the
rulers are OK
This might be a SANE-related-problem

This is quite funny, because I never changed theses codeparts but
you're now the third person (including myself) with this problem. It's
no on my list with high prio...

That's because the reading call to the driver is a blocking call and the
progress bar in xscanimage is seldom triggered...

I've currently found no possibility to solve this behaviour. The only
way was to close the preview and then reopen it...
