Simple stupid question from a java programmer. and OT to boot.

I am using kdevelop and I can not figure out how to get it to link with the nano-x library. I have gone to the linking options and put in nano-X and then tried libnano-X.a I am getting No rule to make target 'nano-x' needed to make 'ultramw'.
