Hi Guys,
I tried the freetype 1.3.1 package and failed with the following massage:
checking for dnet_ntoa in -ldnet... no
checking for dnet_ntoa in -ldnet_stub... no
checking for gethostbyname... (cached) yes
checking for connect... yes
checking for remove... yes
checking for shmat... yes
checking for IceConnectionNumber in -lICE... no
checking for stdlib.h... yes
checking for fcntl.h... yes
checking for unistd.h... yes
checking for working const... yes
checking size of int... configure: error: can not run test program while cross compiling
make[2]: *** [configure] Error 1
make[1]: *** [freetype1.package] Error 2
make: *** [build] Error 2
I found the same question online on the freetype mailing list and the solution was
"as usual you need to use a config.cache file with the test results for
your target platform. Specify it using configure --cache-file=<file>.
Your cross-compile environment should come with a suitable cache file."
I tried --cache-file=config.cache with no lock. Does anyone know what's the deal here?
Thanks,
ER
