: But when I try to start nano-X from a telnet console or from
: a system-init-script, I get the error message:
:
: kbd_ttyscan.c:TTY_Open: ERR KDGKMODE
: Cannot initialise keyboard

First, check drivers/kbd_ttyscan.c. You may need to open
/dev/console, rather than /dev/tty. It appears nano-X thinks
your telnet pty is the console...

This can be overcome by unsetting KBDSCAN in the
config file, and just running the normal TTYKBD.

Regards,

Greg
