Sounds like you're using X11 to run FLTK and
nano-X. You can't be running X11 and replace
X11 with NXLIB, it won't work. Recompile
nano-X to use framebuffer, and make sure that
works outside of X11, then install NXLIB
and FLTK will work outside of X11.
