Hi,
I'm using nano-X with linux 2.4.29 on a PXA270 card with a 6.5" LCD .
The LCD has a standard 3 x 6 bits interface.
nano-X works well in 8bpp depth but the use of palette is annoying and
it is slow.
If i want to use a higher color depth, the only one available is 18bpp.
The PXA270's LCD controller does not support 16 or 24bpp with this type
of LCD panel. (or am i wrong ?)
Now i have a problem : nano-X does not support 18bpp.
Since 18bpp panels are very common, i suppose i'm not the only one
facing this problem.
Ever heard of a 18bpp patch ?
If i decide to go into nano-X source code and add this mode, is it a big
work ?
Any ideas ?
Thanks for any help
