If you list the file in upper case, make sure it exists in the
filesystem in upper case.

If the demo programs aren't working, then your freetype 
installation probably isn't working.  I recommend moving
backwards to the 1.x freetype for the time being, then
working with a later 2.x version.  This version is documented
in the engine/font_freetype.c file.

The demos do work, I also recommend running them on a linux
desktop before moving to an embedded target.
