RTEMS is a very nice RTOS. It runs on several CPUs:
i386, i960, CPU32, PowerPC, M68K, ColdFire, etc.
There are two ways to boot it. The PC386 BSP can be booted with GRUB
or over the network using NETBOOT. It uses BOOTP/TFTP for that.
If anybody is interested on this, I'll add a binaty to be booted from the
network. I'll add some links about NETBOOT on the page.

I am downloading 0.87 as we speak. I'll be glad assisting you
to get this code merged.
