I am trying to add font support to Microwindows for the Blackfin
processor.

There is an issue compiling the nano-x engine for adding this support.

When configuring to include freetype library, Native Linux architecture,
and X11 nano-x compiles and runs on the host machine.

Microwindows, compiled for Blackfin, framebuffer screen, without the
freetype library compiles, links and can be exectuted.

When changing the config to Blackfin, framebuffer, the nano-x object
will not link.

Error message:

   Linking nano-x ...

/usr/lib/libttf.so: could not read symbols: File in wrong format

Collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

   Make[1]: *** [...src/bin/nzno-x] Error 1

   Make: *** [... src/nanox] Error 2

The difference I see is, the linker for native linux can read the
/usr/lib/libttf.so file, but the Blackfin linker bfin-uclinux-ar can
not.

Do I need to recompile the libttf.so file for Blackfin or not?
