: I was wanting to ask the question: has gdk/gtk been ported to nanogui,
either
: through the win or X api's? I ask because the new mozilla as user
interface
: for a web device (eg kiosk) may be an interesting thing to try. I believe
: Chris Blizzard from Red Hat also has a native X11(xlib) FE for mozilla,
which
: may be a good starting point too.

I have looked at gtk for win32 and gtk for X11, and both could be
good starting points for getting this going.

I would recommend win32 first, since Nano-X is in the extremely
early stages still, since noone has actually built an interface that
requires that windows be moved around, and there's still alot
of bugs and work to be done. There are also a number of
color issues with Nano-X that are still being worked out that
are finalized for win32.

Also, starting with win32 will force other issues that Microwindows
and/or Nano-X will have to take care of, like special opcode
blitting, stretchblit, and some of the more advanced functions
that may be required.

Regards,

Greg
