Well, it would be nice to know what operating system
you're running. If your're running Linux, then make sure
that you're running as root, as the framebuffer requires it.
Also, if the open /dev/fb0 fails (it would be nice to have
the exact error message) then make sure you have an
operational framebuffer. (type "dmesg | grep fb" to
find out, if not, read the framebuffer howto in INSTALL.
