Hi!

At first: nothing crashed. I run all three demos via network, so no shared
memory. On all configurations I had the problem, that windows are not redrawed
after overlayed by another.

My first config:

ARCH                     = LINUX-NATIVE
SCREEN_PIXTYPE           = PF_PALETTE
X11                      = Y
SCREEN_E15               = N
SCREEN_WIDTH             = 640
SCREEN_HEIGHT            = 480
SCREEN_DEPTH             = 8

Demo.sh runs well.
Demo2.sh runs well.
Demo3.sh runs first, it seems, that a white border is drawn, but shuts down
immediatly:

mmmig99/home/u22md/src/libs/microwin/src> ./demo3.sh ./mwin/bmp/car8.bmp    XDefaultVisual:
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
Screen RootDepth: 24
Screen RootVisual
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
Depth: 1
Depth: 24
Visual: 0
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
lost connection to Nano-X server

My second config:
SCREEN_PIXTYPE           = PF_TRUECOLOR0888
SCREEN_DEPTH             = 16

Demo.sh is slow, but works.
Demo2.sh works.
Demo3.sh: The same as above:

mmmig99/home/u22md/src/libs/microwin/src> ./demo3.sh ./mwin/bmp/microwin.bmp
XDefaultVisual:
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33

Depth: 24
Visual: 0
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
setting colormap
lost connection to Nano-X server

My third config:
SCREEN_PIXTYPE           = PF_TRUECOLOR565
SCREEN_DEPTH             = 16

Demo.sh is slow, but works.
Demo2.sh works.
Demo3.sh: The same as above:

mmmig99/home/u22md/src/libs/microwin/src> ./demo3.sh ./mwin/bmp/microwin.bmp
XDefaultVisual:
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
Screen RootDepth: 24
Screen RootVisual
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
Depth: 1
Depth: 24
Visual: 0
Visual  class: TrueColor (4)
id: 33
bits_per_rgb: 8
map_entries: 256
lost connection to Nano-X server

Why is Depth: 24? My X-Server is not and my config is not.

Martin
