But compilation of microwindows is not a problem
atleast for native window , please check your gcc .
And do one thing in config file :-
set
VERBOSE                  = Y
for seeing what happen .

there is some problem in microwindows during make , if
some error occurs it does not quit , Dear Greg , can
you please fix it.

As Dear Greg and Olaf Meeuwissen already gave you some
hints .

But if you face any problem , please download
fsplit2x.exe from :-

http://softseek.zdnet.com/Utilities/File_Management/File_Splitting/D_6416_index.html

This is for Windows system but for 30 days trial :-)

If you want to use bzip2 in windows then download
UnxUtils.zip from :-
http://softseek.zdnet.com/Utilities/General/D_31217_index.html
