Hi all,
I can't seem to get the touchscreen of the Assabet
(SA-1110) to work.
These are the steps I followed:
1.In Microwindows: I only set 'ADSMOUSE = Y'. The rest
were set to 'N'.
2. mount -o loop -t ext2 ramdisk /mnt
3. mknod /mnt/dev/ts c 11 0
4. umount /mnt
5. cat ramdisk | gzip -v9 > ramdisk.gz
6. Downloaded ramdisk using angelboot.
When I tried to run certain Microwindows demos, e.g.
mdemo, demo, I got the following error message:
Error 19 opening touch panel
Cannot initialise mouse.
Also,
cat /dev/ts gives me the following error message:
No such device
- What does Error 19 refer to?
- Could this be happening cause my kernel may not have
touch screen support built in?
- Does anyone know of any zImage file that I could
download which is suitable for the Assabet and has
touch screen support already built in?
-I tried using zImage.ads from the Viewml FTP site but
that doesn't seem to work on the board. I don't see
the penguin once the image file is downloaded.
- I tried using menuconfig to try and re-compile my
kernel but it only seems to have the option for
SA-1100 touch panel. Will that would for the SA-1110
as well?
