Hi Robert,
I have actually been trying to cross-compile the
PalmOS Emulator (POSE) for the Intel Assabet board to
run under Microwindows for some time. I wasn't able to
do it successfully though.
Firstly, POSE runs on FLTK which in turn requires X11.
Century software (www.viewml.org) has created a
version of FLTK that runs on Microwindows rather than
X11. They call it FLNX.
They claim that any program that runs on FLTK 1.0.7 (I
think) should run on FLNX as well. However, that
doesn't seem to be fully true.
After installing FLNX I tried compiling POSE but the
configure script says that "FLTK has not been
installed". There were a lot of other errors as well.
I haven't been working on it since as I'm busy with
some other stuff but I'll try to get back to it soon.
I think it should be possible to eliminate those
errors once some time is spent. Do let me know if you
make any progress with POSE on Microwindows! It would
be great to run all those Palm Apps on the Assabet!
