TinyWidgets is a functional but a very rudimentary widget set. So 
developing that api glue layer at the moment sounds really optimistic. 
TinyWidgets has to be tested for reliability & memory/processor usage - 
frankly, we guys do not have access to any sort of an embedded environment: 
so you might wanna tell us how it performs on a "real" system. Also, you 
guys could decide the future direction TinyWidgets should take (maybe 
prepare a TODO list)  - we don't really have an idea of what people need.
