Yes, definitely it comes from X11 but I was hoping that there was a way
to ask the events from the X11 server somehow differently -- or
something.

I'm using the X11 driver to run my code at my desktop instead the real
hardware. There is five buttons in the real hardware and the code should
act on them differently when they are pressed normally or long.
