For what it's worth, it seems that there is an existing (partial) port of
GDK to
nano-X. It's fairly complete with the exception of BitBlt (and other
general
graphics) functions. It's in the GTK 1.3.x release.

Do you mean just fixing the GDK port to get GTK+ 2.0 running over Nano-X
(probably a few days work for somebody who is already familiar with the
GDK internals), or are you still thinking of spending months completely
reimplementing the GTK+ API on top of TinyWidgets?
