Somebody just mailed me off list to express the concern that as a LookOut
Express user they were unable to filter on arbitrary headers and as a
result had to set up a separate mail account in order to filter out
NanoGUI mail.
While I agree that the fact that it doesn't allow you to filter on
arbitrary headers is absolutely pathetic (Microsoft's justification is
probably "our users are all far too stupid to understand the concept of
mail headers"), I believe that it is possible to instead simply add a
"Where the To or CC line contains ####@####.#### move it to the
specified folder" rule. I just tried it with LookOut Express 5 on my Mum's
PC and it seemed to work fine...
Click on Tools.
Click on Message Rules.
Click on Mail.
Tick the "Where the To or CC line contains people" box.
Tick the "Move it to the specified folder" box.
Click on the underlined "contains people" text.
Type in ####@####.####
Click on "Add".
Click on "Ok".
Click on the underlined "specified" text.
Click on "New Folder".
Type in "NanoGui".
Click on "Ok".
Click on "Ok".
Click on "Ok".
Click on "Ok".
Phew, what an awkward way to perform such a simple task...
