I've heard they're some troubles here, since the gcc compiler
rev'd in this version and it spits out tons more error
messages.

No need to uninstall 7.1. There is a bug in Microwindows
relating to XFree86 4.x which has to do with expose events
being broken, but it's relatively minor and only occurs
when the Microwindows window is obscured. I think Century
has a patch for this.
