Hello,
This is my first mailing to this list. I hope I'm not asking
a FAQ but I could not find any answer so far...
I've written a frame buffer driver for a LCD screen with a
toshiba t6963c controller. The lcd is connected to an embedded
device based on a Motorola MPC860 power pc on which is running
(Montavista) linux. It seems the driver works fine. I can at
least write to the screen when doing something like
ls > /dev/fb
Now I would like to run nano-X to use normal graphical applications.
The Nano-X version I got with the CDK of Montavista fails during start up
with the message:
Error 19 opening touch panel
Cannot initialise mouse
In fact I have neigther a touchpad nor a mouse nor a keyboard connected
to the device.
Next I've downloaded the sources of microwindows. I tried to cross-compile
it myself without keyboard and mouse support. Thus I changed the file
config.ppc such that all occurance of mouse and keyboard where set
to no. I renamed the file to config and tried to compile.
Now the compiler complains about
undefined reference to mousedev
Is there a way to get nano-x running without mouse
and keyboard?
I would appreaciate any hint.
Thanks
Stefan
