Yes, Gary and Alex are right, they're figments of an earlier
implementation. I'll remove them in the CVS version.
Whenever I make major changes in an implementation that
may cause the system to fail catastrophically, I typically
save the earlier version in a .1 file. This is only so that I can
quickly diff the results should the system fail so that it can
quickly be brought back up to an earlier implementation.
These files were created when I add the client-side event
queuing, but it seems that it works!
