Just a quick message to let you all know that a new Microwindows JFFS2 image
(and source code) for the Tuxscreen is available from
http://tuxscreen.net/download/v0.4/
This version has a few changes detailed below:
* Works with the latest blob and kernel images built by Erik Andersen's
buildroot-tux
* Brand new calibrator - new design and it also stores the data on disk so
you don't have to re-calibrate all the time
* Moved the calibrator so Tuxscreens with a broken touchscreen can still
boot to a login prompt
* Added a VNC client (run it from the command line: /usr/local/bin/vnc)
* Bug fixes throughout the code
* Added support for changing brightness / contrast - Hit 'm' on the keyboard
to bring up a menu
For those of you on the Microwindows list who have not heard about Tuxscreen,
go to http://tuxscreen.net right now! This is a very cheap and very good
Strongarm development platform It has the same processor as an Ipaq, but it
costs 1/5 as much.
If you have any questions or concerns, you can e-mail me at
####@####.#### or as CosmicPenguin on irc.openprojects.net in room
#tuxscreen.
Thanks!
