Of course, you have HAVE_BMP_SUPPORT=Y in your config
file. It's likely that your trying to read a .bmp file
that has an unsupported BPP depth. Try converting it
to 256 color 8bpp. It also supports 24bpp. 16bpp
is not yet supported.
