Actually, X has a XGrabKey() function that actually grabs keystrokes and 
sends it to the specified window.

This actually just grabs a key combination (keystroke + modifiers) and sends 
it to the specified window regardless of focus.  This would be quite useful, 
and pretty easy to emulate in Microwindows.
