: 1. After GrNewPixmap, what is the pixmap contents ?

Zeros

: 2. Can I call GrClearWindow on a Pixmap ?

Not currently, GrClearWindow is meant to generate
expose events and clear to a background color or pixmap,
which isn't supported currently for pixmaps. It wouldn't
be too hard to change. The Nano-X concept of pixmap
isn't quite that of a window, although the lower level structure
is the same.

: 3. Is it possible to use GrResizeWindow on a Pixmap ?

Not currently, same as #2. Somewhat easy to change.

Regards,

Greg
