The X style shaped window support that I implemented a few months ago is
in the CVS repository. Download a snapshot of it from:
http://www.linuxhacker.org/pub/cvs-snapshots/microwin-greg/
Or follow the instructions on http://www.microwindows.org/ to check it
out using anonymous CVS.

There are two programs included which demonstrate it: nxeyes - an
improved clone of Xeyes, and tux- a desktop mascot program. The source
to both of them is in src/demos/nanox/

One point to watch out for: shaped windows currently must have the
window decorations turned off, which also means if it needs to be
draggable you have to implement it yourself (see the demos for details).

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer
