: for demonstration purposes I want to use Doom (nxdoom-src.tar.gz)
: But now I get
: R_Init: Init DOOM refresh daemon - [.Segmentation fault]
:
: Do you think this is a microwin problem or may be a problem of the
: systems framebuffer? System is Linux 2.6 on ARM.

Doom must be compiled with structure boundaries matched to
x86, IIRC. So the -mstructure-alignment=8 (or whatever the
exact gcc option is) must be used when compiling Doom.

Also, Doom only runs on 8bpp, I think I added the conversion blits
in the i_video.c file, make sure they're included if running on 16bpp.

Regards,

Greg
