nanogui: client server model on framebuffer

Hi All,
I was successfully able to run the demo applications of Nano-X on framebuffer, when the option
LINK_APP_INTO_SERVER is set to 'Y'. However if the option is set to false that means i now run the
demo application something like this "./nano-X& sleep 1; ./demo", i cannot launch the application.
What i want to know is that, can we use client server mode of launching the demo applications in
freamebuffer?? I mean i dont want client to be linked into app, and still be able to launch client
application in framebuffer. Does the client server model work on Framebuffer??
