: can I keep the application as it is, or should I write
: from scratch without tcl/tk , using nano-x API solely ?

Keep the application as is, and link tcl/tk against the NXLIB
library. If all entry points are there, it should run. Otherwise,
add the missing Xlib entry points to NXLIB, and tcl/tk and
your application should run without recompiling.

Regards,

Greg
