you need to provide a screen, keyboard, and mouse driver.  for keyboard
and mouse, you could write some wrapper glue to NetBSD's wskbd and
wsmouse.

wsdisplay comes immediately to mind, but I believe it is still text-only
at the moment.

I'd ask on ####@####.#### you are not the first to attempt a port
of nano-X to NetBSD.  (:
