I compile and built the Free Type 1.1.3 on my system and I try to run
the demo programs. First it complained about the shared library. Duh,
run ldconfig and that problem is fixed. Which I guess proves that I did
it right :-).

So, from the nano-x src/ I run
bin/nano-X -p &
bin/nanowm &
bin/fontdemo
And I get a hell of a lot offnt_createfont: times.ttf,3 not found
pcf_createfont: times.ttf,3 not found
fnt_createfont: times.ttf,4 not found
pcf_createfont: times.ttf,4 not found
fnt_createfont: times.ttf,5 not found
.
.
.
fnt_createfont: times.ttf,30 not found
pcf_createfont: times.ttf,30 not found

But, I have the quick brown fox message in the various point sizes. I
check and the code just uses "time.ttf" and I have
fonts/truetype/times.ttf and I am running everything from src/, so the
thing about nano-X searching a path relative from the directory you
started it from shouls be ok.

So, why when I run fontdemo, or any other font app, do I get these messages?

tj
