Hi Greg!
Thanks for you reply !
It seems the font the fltk used is not the font of the microwin but
the x11.Each time run the demo there is a message like following:

"XLoadFont('-adobe-helvetica-medium-r-normal--14-100-100-100-p-76-iso885
9-1') ='/usr/lib/X11/fonts/100dpi……*.gz'"
So I think we modify the encoding of the GrText is useless.
(Also I have tested the method and the Chinese font can not display
properly)

: It's perfect that the fltk-1.1.3 run on the nxlib!!!!
: But as I Chinese the important things I care about the
: Chinese font supporting. So a add some Chinese font to the demo
hello.cxx

You will probably need to modify the GrText calls in NXLIB
to indicate the encoding method you're using for the
text that is being output through FLTK. NXLIB emulates
Xlib, and Xlib, by default, requires ASCII. If you are using
UTF8 encoding, then GrText requires the MWTF_UTF8
flag as the last parameter to GrText, for example.

Greg
