Hi all:
We are just starting to use Microwindow as our embedded graphic
systems (mips-based platform). To make our life easier, I thought I will
use FLTK to do GUI program. The current FLNX is based upon FLTK 1.0.7,
but the current stable FLTK release is 1.1.6. Has anyone been able to
use FLTK 1.1.6 on Micro-window?

I did try to port FLTK 1.1.6 myself and here is what I did

1. Cross-compiled nxlib-0.45 to get the libX11.so library
2. Cross-compiled the jpeg library (included as part of FLTK release)
3. Cross-compiled the FLTK library

When I tried to cross-compile FLTK, it tries to look for Xext library.
since FLTK 1.1.6 makes use of some Xext libraries. Do I have to cross
compile Xext-dev library? Since it is all X11 based, I am afraid that I
could be wrong in my approach. Has anyone been successful in making
the latest version of FLTK work on Microwindows?

One good thing about FLTK is that it provides more GUI APIs like
pull-down menu, selection list, etc. and it has FLUID, which is a GUI design
tool. If I don't use FLTK, can anyone suggest a good replacement for GUI
programming on Microwindow?

thanks in advance for your help,

Alan
